Jonesboro, Arkansas – Ad About Town, an Arkansas-based company which sells and displays advertising on mobile trucks, has introduced a Digital Media Truck into the Jonesboro market. Since October 2006, the company has employed a similar Mobile Media Truck in Jonesboro. This Ad About Town truck – which shows up frequently at busy city intersections -- featured Tri-Action three-message signs manufactured by Action Graphix, also based in Jonesboro.
The newly introduced Mobile Media Truck takes the concept further by combining large Tri-Action three-message signs on each side of the vehicle with a 5-by-5 foot rear digital sign to produce a one-of-a-kind “combo” media vehicle.
“This combo digital and tri-action truck gives our advertisers something new and different,” says John Prewitt, president of Ad About Town. “The digital sign offers unprecedented flexibility to change messages instantly, to offer daily price specials and promotions, and to advertise specific messages at specific times of the day…Plus, the digital sign looks terrific!”
The new Ad About Town media truck features a digital sign from Action Graphix, which now offers digital signs to local and area businesses. These signs employ a unique technology from D3, a California-based company that has established a strong presence in the northeastern United States with high-profile LED installations in Atlantic City and New York’s Times Square, including the new digital ribbon sign for ABC News and also Fox News.
“People in Jonesboro will be talking about our new Digital Media Truck,” John Prewitt adds. “The truck is a very compelling and unique product.”
